Booking Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 2024
At Kingdom Sail Ltd, we are dedicated to providing transformative, faith-filled sailing experiences that deepen relationships with Jesus and make lasting impacts. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we want to ensure that our refund policy reflects both fairness and generosity.
1. Booking Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required to secure your spot on our sailing camps. This deposit covers initial costs and preparations for the voyage. This deposit counts toward your final balance.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made before January 15: Full refund of any payments made, excluding a non-refundable application fee of $350.
- Cancellations made on or after January 15: No refund will be made. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance policy to suit your specific needs.
Final Balance is due by February 1.
Note: If we don’t receive your final payment by February 15 your place will be released for other students to book.
3. Non-Refundable Items
Any t-shirts / tops and other shop items with the Kingdom Sail logo on are fully non-refundable once they have been sent out to your address.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that life can present unforeseen circumstances. If you need to cancel due to an emergency or other significant reasons (such as illness, family emergencies, etc.), please contact us. We highly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance policy to suit your specific needs and to cater for unforeseen circumstances.
5. Trip Cancelation by Kingdom Sail Ltd
In the unlikely event of Kingdom Sail Ltd. needing to cancel a camp due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or any other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you the option of:
- A full refund, including the deposit.
- Or transferring your booking to a future camp date at no additional cost.
6.Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. This helps ensure peace of mind in case your plans unexpectedly change.
7. Transfer of Booking
If you are unable to attend and wish to transfer your booking to another participant, you may do so up to 14 days before the camp’s start date. Please notify us in writing, and we will assist with the necessary arrangements.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving your cancellation request. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
